Battery life is claimed to last up to 13 days with normal usage and it also supports a quick charge function that gets you to 65% in 30 minutes. The device uses a magnetic two-pin proprietary charger.
Galaxy Fit3 can also handle incoming notifications and media controls. While the band won’t support voice calls, it will allow you to hang up on calls from your connected device as well as send predetermined message replies. There’s no built-in GPS, so you’ll have to use your paired phone’s receiver to track runs. Samsung also confirmed that the band won’t feature NFC connectivity or third-party apps.
Samsung is bringing activity tracking for over 100 modes to choose from as well as sleep, stress, and heart rate tracking. The device is also equipped with a fall detection sensor and the ability to alert your emergency contacts.
Galaxy Fit3 features a 1.6-inch AMOLED display with 256 x 402 px resolution and a plastic design with aluminum sides. The band will feature 100+ watch faces with the additional option to create your own with a photo from your gallery. The software side is handled by a simple tile-based interface.
